“Coaching requires building a trusted relationship where you can present the truth with love, grace, and respect.”

Meet Fred Vojtsek

Your Change Management Executive Coach & President of True North 413

For more than 35 years, Fred Vojtsek has partnered with leaders to identify and effectively address critical issues restricting their organization’s growth. Trained in social work and Learning Systems Theory with expertise in mental health and employee assistance programs, Fred’s organizational reengineering methodologies are praised for providing a grace-filled, respectful approach to an otherwise stress-inducing and dishonoring one.

As a values-based leader determined to help executives effectively align their vision with their strategies, he has started and led four consulting companies, including True North, which he continues to lead today. Throughout his career working with leaders in the private sector, his companies have impacted more than 100K employees. Yet, his most rewarding work includes serving faith-based leaders and educating practitioners through the National Association of Social Workers.

Much like a master detective with a knack for making an often complex process approachable (and even fun!), Fred specializes in identifying system interactions and blindspots while connecting with people on a relational level to understand the big picture. After walking with leaders to thoroughly analyze the situation, he helps them discern the next steps to align their strategy and vision.

Often recognized by authors and thought leaders for his depth of wisdom, Fred has been quoted and featured in several book publications, including Leading From the Second Chair, Courageous Leadership, Making Your Children Ministry the Best Hour of Every Kid’s Week, What Would Jesus Say, Tom Peter’s Fast Forward, and Arthur Gallagher’s Impact Impressions

Today, Fred has a fresh outlook on life and a passion to serve. After his daughter’s traumatic, near-death experience during a mass shooting in 2012, he has a renewed focus on what matters most. Having walked with his daughter through a difficult recovery, including managing her care and healthcare relationships, his passion has grown to support cause-based organizations and churches that serve the least of these. Following God’s call to speak the truth with love and bring order to Kingdom endeavors with a humble, responsive heart, Fred is not ready to retire!

When Fred is not connecting with or coaching leaders, you can find him spending time with his wife and family (especially his grandkids!), watching college sports, researching thoroughbred horses, or spending time with friends.
